This Cookie Policy explains how EMARKSS LTD ('Company', 'we', 'us', and 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://emarkss.com ('Website'). It explains what these technologies are and your rights to control them.
Our product, Lumnya, has its own policies, available at lumnya.ai.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website owner are called 'first-party cookies'. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called 'third-party cookies'. Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g. advertising, interactive content, and analytics).
Do we use cookies?
In short: no, apart from strictly necessary security cookies that our hosting provider may set.
This Website itself does not set any cookies. We do not use advertising, social media plugins or embedded third-party
content, and our fonts and other assets are served from our own domain. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web
Analytics, which does not use cookies (see below). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare,
may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm, which helps tell people from bots,
or cf_clearance, after a security check). These cookies protect the website, are not used to track
you or for advertising, and expire after a short time. Because no non-essential cookies are used, we do not show a
cookie consent banner.
| Category | Used on this Website |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary cookies | Cloudflare security cookies only, when needed (e.g. __cf_bm, cf_clearance) |
| Performance and functionality cookies | None |
| Analytics and customisation cookies | None |
| Advertising cookies | None |
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors to a website. Websites sometimes use similar technologies such as web beacons ('tracking pixels' or 'clear gifs') or local storage. This Website does not use tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting or local storage to track you.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script provided by our hosting provider, to count visits in aggregate: which pages are viewed, the referring website, browser and device type, country and page load times. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage and is not used to identify you or follow you across other websites.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Most web browsers accept cookies by default, and you can set or amend your browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. Your browser's help menu explains how to manage cookies in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera and other browsers.
How often will we update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to the technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we ever introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
